Tarpon springs Oktoberfest
Although we're not in Germany, all of our beers are imported from two of the finest and longest standing German breweries and our biergarten tent rivals anything in the states. Ziggyzaggy Ziggyzaggy Oi Oi Oi!
The Tarpon Springs Oktoberfest keeps with the true German celebration. And...just so you know what you're getting, let us tell you a little bit about the different types of beers we offer for the 3 and a 1/2 day festival so you can look like a big shot, beer snob. If these are not enough variety, the surrounding bars and restaurants carry many more traditional German and Domestic beers and wines. So men get into your lederhosen and ladies into your dirndl dress and enjoy the party.
Hacker Pschorr Original Oktoberfest - My favorite German Beer. Golden amber color, typical malt aromas, defined by the various malting barley from the Bavarian countryside complemented by a pleasantly light hoppy note - a taste sensation for every beer connoisseur. The Original has firmly established itself at the Munich Oktoberfest and meanwhile wins out against the traditional Märzen. Alc. 5.8 % by volume, 13.7 % original gravity.
Hacker Pschorr Weisse Dark - The Weisse Dark wheat beer shimmers gently like a black opal with glint of amber. Its taste as strong as its look. A touch of caramel pleasantly spreads over the palate. Fine noses will detect nuances of apricot and clove in addition to its characteristic malt aroma. The spicy sweetness of the dark malts harmoniously combine with subtly bitter hoppy notes. The secret of the unique taste is the use of selected wheat and barley varieties and especially the brewing process. This gives the beer its distinctive color and its delicate, velvety smooth character. Since 1417, Hacker Pschorr stands for traditional Bavarian brewing. Alc. 5.3 % by volume, 12.4 % original gravity by weight
Paulaner Oktoberfest Wiesn Bier - If you talk Oktoberfest you can't get any more authentic than this bier. This is the beer they brew for Oktoberfest in Munich and we were lucky enough to get a bunch of the kegs from our friends at JJ Taylor Distributing. Alc. TBD.
Paulaner Hefeweizen - The no. 1 Hefe-Weißbier in Germany and one of the world’s favorites. Naturally cloudy and shining silky gold in the glass under a really strong head of foam. At the first mouthful this Weißbier classic has a mild aroma of banana. Finer palates detect a trace of mango and pineapple and the balance between sweet and bitter. Beer connoisseurs appreciate the fine note of yeast and the mild but sparkling mix of aromas. It is a typical beergarden beer, which brings people together all over the world. Alc. 5.5%
